The company is run by myself - Jackie Attwood. I belong to the thirty-something gang and I'm married with a young son. I have been Born & Bred in Keswick in the Lake District. After spending several years in administration in the Employment Service, followed by a couple of years working overseas, then a couple of years in Hotel Personnel - I took a well earned rest to have my Son; I then thought it would be a good idea to accumulate all my experience into one area and hence Attwoods International Appointments came to be.
I aim to find Hotel jobs for primarily young people from overseas who are on working vacations - the jobs will be in the Lake District and Cumbria and will offer live-in accommodation to its employees. I do this by advertising on a weekly basis in the T.N.T Magazine - a glossy publication circulated throughout the London area which is free and has 320,000 readers weekly. When the jobseekers contact me I then pass on any relevant vacancies that I am holding and then the Backpacker will contact the Hotels themselves for further details. When the Backpacker secures employment I then charge the Hotel a singular remittance for the service I have provided - it's as easy as that!.

it won't cost them a penny, if they do - then the charge is a fraction
of the cost of advertising in the Local Press - so you
can't lose…
I aim to visit all my Hoteliers thus enabling me to see for myself what their own personal recruitment requirements are and also to see the Hotels for myself, so I can then relay this information to the jobseeker and ultimately match employer and employee as efficiently as possible.
